I write poems for special days,
for people stuck for something to say.

Let me know in plenty of time,
and I will write a suitable rhyme.

Weddings, Christenings, Funerals too,
just let me know what you want me to do.

Some people know what they want to say,
but nerves get the better of them on the day.

If it's in verse you can read it out,
just give me ideas what the poems about.

Tell me what you want to include,
it can be funny but not too rude.

Parties, Retirements, anything goes,
there's nothing I cannot put into prose.
